Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about converting bank statement PDFs to Excel and CSV.
How do I convert a bank statement to CSV?▾
Upload the PDF and click Convert. You get back a .csv file with one row per transaction.
What file format do I get back?▾
CSV. Upload several statements at once and you get a ZIP containing one CSV per statement plus a summary file.
Can I open the CSV in Excel?▾
Yes. Double-click the downloaded file and it opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. Save it as .xlsx from there if you want formulas and formatting.
Which columns will my CSV have?▾
The same ones your statement has. A statement with date, narration, reference number, withdrawal/deposit and balance comes back with exactly those columns, in that order.
Does it handle multi-page statements?▾
Yes. Every page is merged into one CSV and the original transaction order is preserved.
What does it cost?▾
Nothing. Without an account you can convert 1 page per 24 hours, and 5 pages per 24 hours once you sign in.
